Start Daring!
What would you dare the Jonas Brothers to do?
The Jonas Brothers have accepted the challenge to complete dares submitted by fans via MySpace video uploads during Teen Choice 2009 airing Monday, Aug. 10 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
During last year’s show, viewers were invited to ask the Jonas Brothers questions via MySpace video uploads. This year, a few fans will have the opportunity to challenge the Jonas Brothers by uploading video dares online via MySpace.
If chosen, the dare will then be completed by the group or individually by Kevin, Joe or Nick during the show.
Teens can find more information and upload their video dares through July 27 on the Teen Choice Awards MySpace.
According to FOX, Selena Gomez, Jesse McCartney and Keke Palmer will present during the two-hour celebration of the hottest teen personalities in film, television, music, sports and fashion.

Additional performers and presenters will be announced soon.
Fans ages 13-19 can still vote once each day for all of their favorite Teen Choice 2009 nominees here.

A new crew for Camp Rock 2!
Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato are headed back to Camp Rock, but the sequel to last year’s top-rated cable telecast will feature a new director and writer, not to mention a plot that borrows from Shakespeare.
“Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam” will begin production this summer and debut next year on Disney Channel.
The story has the characters played by Lovato and Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas returning to their beloved Camp Rock, only to discover that some of the students and instructors have ditched it for nearby rival Camp Star.
Other major players returning for the sequel include Meaghan Jette Martin, Maria Canals-Barrera and Alyson Stoner. Daniel Fathers is back as Camp Rock’s head honcho.
Joining the cast for “Final Jam” are popular hip-hop artist Matthew “Mdot” Finley and Chloe Bridges, an accomplished 17-year-old classical pianist. Mdot plays the reigning hot-shot singer across the lake at Camp Star who challenges Camp Rock to a musical showdown.
The “Romeo and Juliet” moment comes when Camp Rock’s Nate (Nick Jonas) falls for Dana (Bridges), the daughter of Camp Star’s owner.
Taking over helming duties from the first installment’s Matthew Diamond is Paul Hoen, who directed the 2007 Disney Channel movie “Jump In!” The sequel’s script was written by Dan Berendsen (“Hannah Montana The Movie”) with Karin Gist and Regina Hicks, the duo who wrote “Jump In!” with Doreen Spicer. Gist and Hicks also wrote the first “Camp Rock” with Julie Brown and Paul Brown.
The original “Camp Rock” attracted an audience of 146 million in 160 nations and 30 languages, a huge hit by nearly any standard — except, maybe, compared with Disney Channel’s “High School Musical,” seen by 225 million worldwide.
The “Camp Rock” soundtrack has gone platinum in the U.S. and eight other territories and gold in another dozen.
Congratulations Kevin!
The following was email was sent through the Jonas Brothers community newsletter by Kevin Sr. and Denise Jonas:
Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle Deleasa for her hand in marriage. Her answer was yes and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our families celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you for all of your support.
Congratulations Kevin! We couldn’t picture you with a better girl.
“Done With Country Stars” – Feud Back On?
It looks like Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas’ feud may be back on. At a recent concert, Joe Jonas changed the lyrics of their new song “Much Better” to take a bigger swipe at ex-girlfriend Swift.
The lyrics to “Much Better” already call out his “Love Story”-singing former flame. “Now I’m done with super stars/And all the tears on her guitar,” read the lyrics, referring to Swift’s early hit “Teardrops on My Guitar.” During the show, the lyrics were changed to an even more obvious dig at Swift.
“Now I’m done with country stars,” he sang at the Tulsa, OK tour stop, even to brother Nick’s surprise who looked shocked at the outburst. The Jonas Brothers’ new tour kicked off last week to an audience of 50,000 people in Dallas, where Swift pal Miley Cyrus joined rumored boyfriend Nick for a duet.
Whether Swift will hit back at Joe during her current “Fearless” tour is unknown. May we suggest a cover of Mariah Carey’s new Eminem-dissing single, “Obsessed”?
Girlfriends Confirmed
The Jonas Brothers have finally admitted that they do, in fact, have girlfriends even though it’s something that we all knew.
Well…Joe was actually the one who told Larry King who Nick’s girlfriend is.
Despite the fact that I once spoke negatively of Miley, I was once a fan and that fandom has come back. So…go Niley! I was getting tired of Justin to be honest. Seriously, that dude needs to date girls his age.
I’m not too fond of Camilla Belle still…but I’ll deal with it until she gives me a good reason to dislike her.
Caught Up!
I’ve finally uploaded older JB photos to the gallery. Now, when you go the events, you can go back as far as 2006!
I’ll try to get the other sections of the gallery up-to-date as well.
Good news, though! Last night, I uploaded the screencaps for “Chasing the Dream.” I got them done on Monday night, but didn’t upload them until last night (obviously).
It’s summer, so I hope to finally finish the screencaps for Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream. I started them around the beginning of 2009, and they’re still not done.
If you’d like to help out, just send an email!

“Much Better” Slams Taylor Swift
According to The Hollywood Gossip, Joe Jonas thinks Camilla Belle is better than Taylor Swift.
Joe Jonas started dating Belle shortly after his break-up with Taylor Swift. It’s no secret that Swift blames his relationship with Belle for breaking up “Jaylor” (Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift).
Now, Joe and his siblings are firing back at Swift in their new song “Much Better.”
And all the tears on her guitar, I’m not bitter. But now I see, Everything I’d ever need, Is the girl in front of me, She’s much better.
Any pop music fan should know that the group is referencing Taylor’s hit song, “Teardrops On My Guitar.”
Are you on Team Jonas or Team Taylor?
The Joe Jonas fangirl in me tells me to pick Team Jonas, but the normal teenage girl and Camilla Belle hater in me says to pick Team Taylor.
I can’t pick, so I’ll leave that up to you.
