Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa’s wedding earlier this month was like a fairy tale – complete with a castle, an enchanted forest and glass slippers in the bride’s shoe size, a gift from the groom.
“I knew that my princess needed her glass slippers and her castle,” Jonas told PEOPLE of the nuptials.
“I always wanted my wedding to have that princess feel,” adds the new Mrs. Jonas. “I couldn’t have imagined this,” she says of her lavish wedding Dec. 19 at Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York.
Despite a blizzard blanketing the roads around the castle, the wedding went forward without a hitch, and the bride, escorted by her father Thomas “Bucky” Deleasa, walked down the aisle to “Bella Notte,” from Lady and the Tramp, played on the guitar by a friend of the Jonas family. “I’m an Italian girl. It just fit me and my dad,” said Danielle of the song choice.
The groom’s father Kevin Jonas Sr., an ordained minister, officiated along with Danielle’s childhood pastor, Rev. Ron DePasquale Jr. After reciting traditional vows, the couple exchanged Jacob & Co. wedding bands that they designed for one another.
“I’ve never seen a more beautiful bride,” said Kevin of Danielle, who he calls his “Jersey Girl” and who wore a strapless tulle and Chantilly lace Vera Wang gown at the ceremony.

Key “American Idol” Dates Revealed

The key dates of “American Idol” season 9 are unveiled, America will get to vote for their favorites starting February 23. As previously revealed in its mid-season schedule, FOX would premiere the singing competition on January 12. The date will be kicked off with the audition in Boston where Victoria Adams serves as guest judge.
After the premiere, “Idol” will continue with several audition episodes between January 13 to February 2. There will be a special episode called “The Road to Hollywood” before the show commences with the Hollywood Week rounds on February 9 to February 17. Ellen DeGeneres who replaces Paula Abdul as the permanent judge will join the lots in the Hollywood Week.
Instead of going from Top 36 to straight Top 12, the show changes the format a bit by going straight to Top 24 comprised of 12 women and 12 men. Audience will then get to pick the finalists whose struggle to victory will begin on March 16. Another key date is the return of Idol Gives Back on April 21, meaning the final could be somewhere in late May.

Here’s basically what happened over the weekend, since I didn’t actually post as-it-happened.
- Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa got married on December 19. A snowstorm that had threatened to put a damper on the wedding ended up adding snow-covered splendor.
- Joe Jonas revealed that his passion is acting, which shouldn’t be a surprise since it’s a well-known fact that he wanted to be a comedian in his younger years – and acting isn’t too much of a difference.
Weekend Wedding for Kevin Jonas

RadarOnline.com has confirmed that Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa will be getting married this weekend at an exclusive estate on Long Island. It has also been confirmed that long-time friend – Demi Lovato, who has been previously rumored to be having a secret romance with Joe – is expected to be one of the guests at the wedding.
For the menu, guests will have an assortment of choices. These choices include filet mignon, sea bass, chicken and a vegetable tart.
Side Note: If photos are released, Joe Jonas Fan will NOT post them. They are private, and I refuse to post something so personal. I’ve been to three weddings, and photos for them generally look the same. Therefore, I see no reason to post them…especially since it’s incredibly unlikely for them to be released anyway. (I won’t even download them if they’re released. Posting photos of them hanging out with friends is one thing, but a wedding is a completely different story.)

Looks like Jemi fans have something to look forward to in Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. There are rumors going around saying the Shane and Mitchie, Joe and Demi’s characters, will kiss – something I’m sure a lot of us have been waiting for.
Jonas Brothers Deny More Break-Up Rumors

American boy band Jonas Brothers have in a letter to fans denied rumours that they are breaking up, stating that they would continue making music together.The rumours had started after word spread that Nick Jonas, 17, had formed a band called Nick Jonas and the Administration and they intensified after it was revealed Kevin, 21, is getting married.
“We plan to make music together for as long as we can,” People magazine quoted the brothers as saying in a letter to fans.
“We’ve said from the beginning of our career as the Jonas Brothers that anything we do outside of the group is a side project because you can’t break up brothers,” Nick wrote of Nick Jonas and the Administration, which is releasing an album next year.
“My brothers are my biggest supporters, and were on the phone with me everyday while I was in the studio asking how it was going, and telling me they couldn’t wait to hear the record,” he stated.
“We are so proud of our brother Nick. We know that we will be doing music together for the rest of our lives. But we are thrilled for you to hear these songs that were on his heart,” Joe and Kevin wrote in a joint message.
“A three-chord strand is not easily broken, and one thing’s for sure… this three chord strand is stronger now than it’s ever been. You are truly the best fans in the world, and we love you with all our hearts,” they added.
I, as the owner of Joe Jonas Fan would like to add this – please do not assume the brothers are ending the band because one of them admits to starting a side project. Nick Jonas and the Administration is strictly as a side project and will stay that way until they say so. They may hide relationships, but those boys would never hide this.

Perfume for Joe’s lucky lady
Not only is Joe Jonas topping the charts with his musical, television and movie career, but now he has a knack for blending perfumes. The JoBro was spotted at the Toronto International Film Festival mixing together a fragrance for a lady companion at the Aromachology store. “Jonas picked three words that best described his lady– creative, courageous, and sexy,” an insider revealed. In addition to the fragrance was a card signed, “With Love.”

No Valentine’s Day for Joe

Taking a short break from filming Camp Rock 2, Joe Jonas makes a trip back to Beverly Hills to shop around for a new home on Saturday afternoon (September 26).
The 20-year-old musician/actor recently caught up with Just Jared Jr and revealed the mystery behind Valentine’s Day and whether he would be starring opposite Jennifer Garner and Taylor Lautner.
He shared, “I actually went for the audition and it was looking really good, but scheduling just wasn’t working out. They were filming in the summer and we were touring during the summer. We figured it out on our part but it was just difficult because they’re working with so many superstars, that scheduling is really hard to adjust than a normal film like if it was just me and a few other people.”
Joe continued, “It’s Anne Hathaway and all these other big stars that star in that movie and they have to shift schedules around. I think we’re going to try and do something for that, but it all depends on schedules.”
Joe and Nick Jonas both serve as best man

Kevin Jonas has finally decided on his best man. Or should I say best men? His younger brothers, Joe and Nick, will both serve as best man at Kevin’s wedding to Danielle Deleasa. Since Kevin will be having two best men, Danielle will be having two maids of honor – her older and younger sisters.
Joe has revealed that the bachelor party will NOT be in Las Vegas. They’re thinking of going somewhere “cooler and better.” Kevin will not be involved in any of the party planning, not for his lack of trying though. Joe says, “Nick and I are in charge, and we have to remind Kevin that we’ll take care of it.”
According to the Los Angeles Times, Kevin’s bachelor party most likely won’t have any echoes of The Hangover.
Kevin, let your brothers do their job!
