Times Online: “Jonas Brothers – The 3D Concert Experience”
Edward Porter, of Times Online, posted the following review of Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience earlier today.
You can skip to the end and leave a response. Pinging is currently not allowed. Here’s a reminder of just how long the teen-pop industry has been in operation. This concert film has a format that will be recognisable not only to the parents of the typical Jonas Brothers fan, but to her grandparents as well. Mixing performance footage with scenes in which Kevin, Joe and Nick dodge stampeding fans, it’s A Hard Day’s Night all over again, except nobody has bothered to write the brothers some funny dialogue. The 3-D visuals of Bruce Hendricks’s film put the best possible gloss on the boys’ stage show, which lives up to their bland, clean-cut image — except when they explore the potential symbolism of spraying their fans with white foam from hoses held at waist height.
